A shared visual workspace for collaborative design and discussion.

Requirement

Bring multiple laptop sources, wireless presentation and conferencing into a

shared visual workspace. Integrate room audio, discussion microphones and

intuitive control for collaborative design sessions.

Integrated room audio

Beyerdynamic Quinta wireless system: 1 MU33 chairperson, 10 MU31 participant microphones and CU control. Shure microphones, Q-SYS processing and 8 Tannoy speakers complete the audio.

Project details / Highlights

Video wall & processing

18 × NEC 55-inch displays on serviceable Peerless mounts. Dexon DXN5200 processing and HDBaseT receivers distribute sources across the wall.

Presentation & conferencing

11 HDMI/VGA table inputs, Barco ClickShare CSE-800, Cisco SX80 codec and 2 × Precision 60 cameras. Crestron and Extron interfaces connect the sources.

A custom video-wall surround integrates the installation; extendable display mounts support servicing and maintenance.

ARC integrated the display, presentation, conferencing and audio systems into one controlled collaboration environment.

Working to Blend Technology Consultants’ specification, ARC coordinated the technical delivery and programmed the user interface. The documented training programme covers source sharing, conferencing, microphones and control, with hands-on use and basic fault finding.
